Culinary Retreat

A journey through food: tools, farming, and cooking.

Najil Chak retreats are journeys of connection, tradition, and intentional living, where every experience reflects a deeper meaning. From traditional crafting with hands and hearts, learning ancient techniques, and immersing ourselves in nature’s rhythms, each moment reflects the bond between land, nature and soul. Moments like these deepen our understanding of land, people, and the art of living with intention—reminding us of the profound power of shared moments, meaningful conversations, and the quiet joy found in simplicity and care.

Ancestral Mexican practices may just hold
the wisdom we need to create a more sustainable future

Through our 6-day retreat, participants dive deep into Mexico’s rich culture of food. Each day, we’ll venture beyond the usual paths, learning from locals & specialists who have devoted their lives to practices such as fascinating traditional cooking methods and the beauty of organic farming in the Yucatan Peninsula, making tableware with local clay and how to fire it and much more...

Active hands-on learning, paired with cultural context, unlocks the Mexican art of living well and prompts us to explore how we can incorporate these teachings into our own lives.
